The macrame cords I prefer to use are Bobbiny cords because they are made from recycled cotton and textiles. They are made in Poland and they're OEKO-TEX certified which means that they've been tested against a list of up to 350 toxic chemicals. If I use another brand I always check to be sure they carry this designation.
